After several below par reviews LG have recently been gathering pace in the LCD tv market. Why one of the biggest selling tv manufacturers should have struggled in the first place remains a mystery. The LG42LH3000 does pack quite some punch and priced at around the £500 mark I doubt many will be left complaining should they wish to purchase one of these sets.
The conservationists will be happy that this HD Ready 1080p (1920 x 1080) LCD tv is energy saving recommended by the Energy Saving Trust. The game players amongst us will also be delighted at the connectivity of such an affordably priced 42″ with connectivity including 3 x HDMI, 2 x Scart, PC Input, Composite and Headphone ouputs. You could even plug in your external hard with USB connectivity.
With a dynamic contrast ratio of 80,000:1 and freeview built in this set rivals those that are £200 to £300 more expensive.
